Rural housing for Southern Erie County and surrounding rural Western New York.

ROC Affordable Housing Corporation is the housing arm of The Rural Outreach Center, based in East Aurora, New York. We listen before we build.

What we hear shapes what we build.

What we do

We build, preserve, and partner.

RAHC is a rural housing developer based in East Aurora, working in Southern Erie County and the surrounding rural communities. We take on new construction, adaptive reuse, and rehabilitation — wherever it helps meet local need. We listen before we build.

What brings you here?

An idea about housing. A property you want to discuss. A concern about your community. A conversation you want to start. We're listening.

We read everything. If you asked us to follow up, we answer within 2–3 business days.

Who we work with

RAHC is the housing arm of The Rural Outreach Center, a 501(c)(3) working on rural poverty in Southern Western New York since 2013. We don't do this alone — our parent gives us our operational backbone (finance, grants, compliance), and municipal, county, regional, and philanthropic partners help carry the work forward. That structure is what lets a small team build with focus.
